About Blu Bird

WHO IS BLU BIRD

Blu Bird is a small blue coloured bird from the Island of Aquano. He is the island's most famous inhabitant, and his rumored to also be its eldest, some even saying hes older than the island itself. The 25th of August is a day of celebration for the bird although not his actual birthday as not even he himself knows. However the islanders chose to select this day as a day of celebration to him. Although not seen as a god amongst men or any other kind of deity he is a well respected individual on the island.

He can be seen most days flying around the island catching up with the locals on the latest going on and always loves to spread good news around the island. He is not a gossip or rumormonger he is just one who shares the news with all. At lunch times you will always find him at the Blue Cafe, down on the sea front relaxing to the sound of the calm waves and enjoying his beloved chocolate blue chip cookies and an ice cold bottle of cola. But dont hold him up he has lots of news to catch up on through the day and wont stay long. Evenings are the best time to catch him as he relaxes in the Aquano Fish Bar where he is treated to the finest blue sardines caught fresh from the islands waters.

That sums up Blu Bird and his goings on around Aquano, so when you see him dont forget to wave and share you story with him.

WHY NOW WHY TWITTER

Well it all began several weeks ago, when Blu Bird was flying around the island he spotted some going on down at the Blue Cafe, there were builders knocking down the side wall. Well Blu Bird being the inquisitive sort that he his flew down to ask what was going on. To his delight they were not knocking down his favourite lunch time retreat, they were expanding into a cyber cafe, this was all new to Blu Bird. So he came back at lunch time for his usual chocolate blue chip cookies and bottle of cola with the owner of the Cafe, Mr Harris to discuss what a cyber cafe was. When Blu Bird found out this wonderful world out there and all these new people and cultures well, he just had to get involved. When i say involved he had the entire island come and help build the new cafe and install the new computers, it was done in record time ready for the first log in to the world wide web. 

So the rest was well, history really Blu Bird is now here online to share all his great stories from the island with you all and what better place to share this news then on Twitter, it is after all a place for birds to tweet there stories.
